Whether building a new addition or remodeling your kitchen, renovating your home can be both exciting and overwhelming. We have found that, as with most things in life, home renovations become manageable when broken down into smaller steps. Our proven Dream Builders process keeps things simple and clear. We proceed together, in steps, building on each one along the way.

Our commitment to you is to provide creativity, ingenuity and guidance as we explore design options within your investment range, until we capture the details that will create the dream you have imagined at the price you can afford.

Initial Consultation

We visit with you and give you the opportunity to get to know us; who we are, how we operate and the type of work we do. Then you tell us about your renovation goals and objectives. We take this opportunity to get familiar with your lifestyle. We work towards having a solid understanding of your remodeling project as well as your investment range. This key information will help guide us through the next four steps. At this point we discuss our Design Agreement. When you enter into this agreement, Pioneer Craftsmen will commit to working closely with you through the Design Stage. This is the most important phase of your project where we research options; develop solutions, and present ideas that are within your investment range. The fee can range from $250 to $5,000, however this could be higher depending on the size and complexity of your project. A set amount is agreed upon before we proceed.

Designing Your Dream

This step puts into motion our team of designers and project managers. We conduct a viability study, investigate site conditions, consult with regulatory bodies and take measurements of your existing space. Now, armed with your goals and objectives as well as the technical details, our award winning design staff start developing solutions for you. We utilize the latest in 3D design software enabling us to present design options in a format that is friendly and easy to visualize. At the same time all of this is happening we are working with our suppliers and trades to develop a firm construction budget.

Presenting Our Ideas

Once we are comfortable we have addressed your criteria along with all technicalities we review the design ideas with you. We discuss floor plans, elevations, cabinetry layout and possible product selections. At this time we also present you with an accurate cost based on discussions and designs to date.

Finalizing the Details

We are committed to working closely with you until we capture the details that will create the dream you imagined at the price you are comfortable with. This phase is where we fine-tune your project, product selections and costs until we have them just right for you and your family. Before you make the commitment to build you now have:

Construction

For many of our clients this is the most exciting phase. All your ideas will start to come alive right before your eyes! We plan a pre-construction conference with you, the Production Manager and Lead Carpenter so you can meet all the key players. We review what to expect while your project is underway and address any concerns you may have. Rest assured however that while our skilled site staff and trades are hard at work, safely and efficiently putting it all together, behind the scenes we are still there. We are ordering materials, scheduling the myriad of trades and staying in tune with the progress and schedule to be certain we do everything possible to minimize the disruption and inconvenience during the construction stage.

Living Your Dream

Construction is complete. We have conducted a final walk-through with our staff to assure even the smallest of details have satisfactorily been addressed. Now you sit back and enjoy your beautiful newly renovated living space. While you enjoy your day-to-day life, you can find comfort in the fact we are only a phone call away. One year after final completion, we give you a follow-up call. We want to be sure you are still happy with your renovation and inquire if there is anything that needs tending to. Our commitment continues with our 5-year Warranty providing you with additional comfort.

Our Dream Builders Plus Program is identical to our Dream Builders Program, however it is designed for the client with more complex design and product selection requirements. The Design Agreement fee reflects the additional investment in design time.
