Vic Sellner Award
This year’s recipient of the Vic Sellner award has been a WRHBA member for over 20 years; they know firsthand that the business of renovating homes is also about building strong communities.
Their steadfast commitment isn't just about writing a cheque; rather they provide countless volunteer hours and direct support to numerous charities, business organizations, and community groups throughout the Region. Each year, their team of staff members come together to choose a major charitable event in which the entire company can then rally around and lend their support and expertise.
An excellent example is by way of their three-year commitment in support of the Women's Crisis Services - Capital Campaign to build a new facility. They have not only contributed financial assistance into the thousands but also countless volunteer hours in promoting and participating in several of the KEY capital campaign fundraising initiatives. This company really knows the meaning of "team spirit" - they know that collectively they can make a tremendous difference in our community and in this case directly impact and make better the lives of our region’s most vulnerable women and children.
Clearly this company has met, if not exceeded just what the Vic Sellner Award stands for.Back to News…
