How Does It Work?
Your Project Manager will be your main point of contact working closely with you each step of the way, ensuring your questions are answered, assisting with decisions and product selections and delivering you creative space unique to your home and lifestyle, on time and on budget. Our entire team however is committed to your complete satisfaction. Here’s how it works: (for specific details on the three programs see our Dream Builder Program)
Making the Call and Meeting
- Give us a call. We’ll be happy to hear from you. Initially we’ll ask you a few questions over the phone then one of our Project Managers will contact you to discuss your ideas further.
- We’ll set up a consultation time to meet either at your home or at our office. We become more familiar with you and your plans. You become familiar with Pioneer Craftsmen and how we can help.
- We discuss possibilities, options and the investment range you are comfortable with.
- If you are planning a project such as a deck or addition, be sure to have your survey with you on this first meeting.
- If you have started an Idea Binder, have that available to show us your pictures and discuss your lists.
- We finish by discussing which of our three program options would best suit your vision and the benefits of working with a Design Agreement. We explain our firm written Contract and how Change Orders are issued along the way, so you are clear of exactly what you are getting and what it will cost.
Design Stage and Selections
- If you do not require design, you will proceed directly to the Project Delivery Program.
- At the design stage, we ask many more questions, we listen and offer suggestions, and then the professional staff at Pioneer Craftsmen get to work designing your dream.
- We research options, investigate site conditions, consult with regulatory bodies and take measurements of your existing space.
- Armed with all these important details, we explore options and develop solutions within your investment range.
- We discuss such items as floor plans, cabinetry layout, product selections, start and completion dates, etc. This typically takes a few meetings and phone calls
- Utilizing our 3D design software we will present you with design options in a format that is friendly and easy to visualize.
- We will also develop a firm construction budget.
- Once you are comfortable that we have captured the details that will create the dream you imagined at the price you are comfortable with we finalize the details and schedule and prepare the written Contract.
- Before you make the commitment to build:
- You know exactly what you are getting
- You have a firm cost for your project
- You have a clear understanding of the process and time-line
Construction
- We have taken care of all permits, locates and ordering and are ready to go!
- A Preconstruction Conference is set with you, the Production Manager and the Lead Carpenter that has been personally selected for your project.
- We give you a complete schedule so you know what is happening when.
- We discuss what you can expect over the next few weeks along with some safety issues and discuss renovating with children around when applicable.
- We also address any concerns you may have.
- Our team of skilled craftsmen will deliver the same attention to detail and care that you have experienced with us to this point.
- Rest assured each day our staff will do everything possible to minimize the disruption and inconvenience to you and your family during the construction stage.
Completion
- Construction is now complete and the smallest of details have been addressed.
- Our commitment continues with our 5 year Warranty. Keep this in your binder for safe keeping.
- You can find comfort in the fact we are only a phone call away.
- Now take a few “After” pictures for your binder. Friends and family will love looking at the Before and After shots.
- It’s time to sit back and enjoy your beautiful new living space
