A Home Reimagined for a Growing Family

The renovation challenge
The existing main floor was disjointed and dated. A sunken living room with an old brick fireplace posed safety risks, the kitchen lacked space and storage, and the entryway felt cramped. They also needed a dedicated nook for the kids, improved functionality for daily routines, and better work-from-home space.

the family
A young, busy family who loved their home but needed a layout that better supported daily life, their love of baking, and safe spaces for their two small children.
The Pioneer Design-Build Solution
A front addition improved entry functionality, added closet storage, and created a nook for the kids’ computer space. The kitchen was relocated and upgraded with custom cabinetry and ample counter space for canning, cooking, and baking. By leveling the living room floor, safety and flow were dramatically improved. Upstairs, an addition created a serene home office, while the bathroom and laundry area were redesigned with modern efficiency and storage in mind.
