The open concept dining/living space makes it easy to go from dinner to relaxing with friends and a nightcap in just a few steps.
It's all in the details, like these openings between two rooms have become lovely shelves for displaying precious treasures.
We love how gorgeous and functional this island is.
It was important to make the kitchen feel modern while also keeping touches of old world charm.
Fitting this nook with a desk is a brilliant use of space.
When you have kids, organization is key for successful mornings getting everyone out the door.

The modern shelving we created for this shower mean that shower caddies are a thing of the past for this family.
Keeping the original exposed brick wherever possible was integral to ensuring that the past will always be remembered.
This archway is a perfect example of the old meets new vibe we were asked to bring to this century home.

Young, busy family with small children looking to make their beloved home better suit their needs while allowing them to remain in the close-knit neighbourhood they love.

The Pioneer Design-Build Solution

This busy house required a solution that could look at each room independently, but seamlessly make them work together while retaining the original charm of the home. Kitchen, dining room, bathroom, bedrooms, laundry room — you name it — were all reworked to be smarter, more convenient and more welcoming.A bigger kitchen adds room for everyone, and a separate dining area is great for the more intimate family moments. Open concept connection to the family room allows for the kids to play, without being too far out of their parent’s line of sight.Laundry is one of life’s less exciting chores, but a reworked laundry room has brightened up even the dullest of tasks. Original brick remains exposed throughout to ensure that the past is always remembered.Overall there was extensive consideration given to colours and finishes to ensure that as the “old meets new” there is an appreciation for the history of the past and an excitement for the future.
