What began as a spacious but inefficient layout with an oversized tub, cramped shower, and minimal storage needed to be transformed into a sleek, accessible, and serene retreat. The challenge was to create a layout that could support current comfort and future accessibility, including walker use and safe bathing options.

The clients’ primary goal was to make the space work better for their current needs while planning ahead for aging in place

The Pioneer Design-Build Solution

A curbless shower room with an integrated walk-in safety tub maximized square footage and supported seamless movement.

A custom linen tower was added directly in the bathroom, eliminating the inconvenience of a separate bedroom closet.

The vanity features a waterfall countertop with the shower glass sitting neatly on top, preserving counter space and providing a clean finish.

Accessibility improvements included a widened bathroom door with an outward swing.

Soft neutrals, layered textures, non-slip flooring, and modern fixtures created a calm, timeless, and safe aesthetic.

Behind the scenes, HVAC ducts were rerouted through a clever half-wall divider between the toilet and tub, doubling as both a structural and visual solution.
