The renovation challenge

Our Waterloo couple wanted an updated kitchen and their own Majlis — an Arabic term for "meeting place" or "gathering place."

Our Waterloo homeowners are world travellers who love to cook and they wanted an airy space where they could work together.

The Pioneer Design-Build Solution

They are world travellers who wanted a bright space to showcase some of their artifacts from around the world. A sunroom addition was the perfect solution!In addition, the kitchen was designed so both homeowners can prep and cook with more elbow room. A wall between the kitchen and living room was removed to expand the space, an island with extra prep sink was added, and a bank of windows and a French door now bring in lots of natural light.
